The executive power

The Executive power is presented by the Cabinet of Ministers.

The Prime Minister heads the Cabinet. The Prime Minister is nominated by the President and is a subject to approval by the Verkhovna Rada. The Cabinet of Ministers carries out domestic and foreign policy of the state, the fulfilment of the Constitution as well as acts of the President, develops and fulfils national programs on economic, scientific and technological, social and cultural development of Ukraine.
